*New Product! Accordion-Style Book

I have so much new stuff in development, and I can't wait to share it all with you. I am currently working with some amazingly talented individuals on new product offerings, as well as marketing materials. The new website is live, and until my printed product catalog is ready, I'll be "unveiling" new items on my website and blog. The first is this incredibly beautiful handmade accordion-style book from Kim Screen O'Neill, owner and creator of Good Stock Press & Bindery (www.good-stock.com). As with all of the books Kim creates, these books are outlined into a story (complete with your text), expertly designed, digitally printed, and bound into a book the old fashioned way - by a skilled pair of hands. Kim loves books, even more than I do, which is saying a lot! She puts her whole heart into every last detail - from the layout and font that she uses, to color-coordinating the book's spine and ribbon to its images. I have been working with Kim for months on creating the perfect little books to offer to my clients. I wanted something special, something handcrafted and unique, an heirloom. There is a larger storybook coming soon, but first, here is the first look at the accordion-style book. It is the perfect little brag book to make all of your friends jealous (of the book AND your kids), and it looks wonderful displayed on a table or mantelpiece. It also makes a great gift for the grandparents. I look forward to sharing much more with you soon. FYI - Kim started Good Stock as a way to document family histories. If you have a bunch of old photographs, letters, names and dates and other family mementos stuffed and fading away in a box, quit procrastinating and let Kim create a truly unique book worthy of your family's story.

And Baby Makes Four!

Or will soon for Amy, John and big sister Emma. I spent a beautiful spring afternoon capturing this family, as they drew nearer to welcoming their second child. Get ready, Emma!

Introducing Emma

Or Miss Ellingsen, if you please! Two-week-old Emma, daughter of John and Megan (former wedding clients of mine), is quite a little lady. I could not get over how serious, yet refined she seemed. Emma is definitely made of starlet material. (Oh, and the saddle picture! The saddle belonged to Emma's grandfather and I waited patiently for Emma to settle in so that I could get this shot. It was worth the wait.)
