Bothell's Country Village: Two New Reasons to Shop There

One) A much improved Toys that Teach. I talked to the new owner of this toy store, who acquired it late last year, and who has been buying a wonderful new selection of toys. I went home with a Frigits Deluxe set (a magnetic marble run) for Hayden's room, something I've been looking for since Christmas. Hayden is nuts for it. I spied Automoblox (http://www.automoblox.com/) and will have to pick one up next time I have an occasion to by a gift for a child (or my husband).
Two) Bella and Max - http://bellaandmax.com A great new clothing and gift store for kids and moms. I picked up a pair of Baby Legs (like legwarmers for babies) for Sylvie, a pin that reads "My mom group can beat up your mom group", and some temporary tattoos for the elderly, which my mom is now sporting (our favorites are the snake that's curled around a pill box, a scooter with the slogan "born to ride", and a pair of Depends with the saying "Out of control". Bella & Max also carries great lines of funny onesies and t-shirts, cute European baby and toddler clothes, Robeez, and "bling" pacifiers. The owner told me that they are also starting up a kid's salon upstairs. I'll definitely be back to shop here again (sans the kids).
